Another close one. Which I won.
It was still too close to call going into the final game on Monday. I was in the awkward position of being down a fair amount of points, but still having a running back to play. Unfortunately, Guze had the kicker for the same team. So every time my guy got a touchdown I got six points, but Guze got at least one, and every time he didn’t get a TD they kicked a field goal. I was sweating it for a while, but Larry Johnson really came through for me. Thanks bud. Good lookin’ out.
I am now back to watching football on the NFL.com website, or rather, watching the play by play pop up on my screen. Guze has both Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson, who was doing nothing until about a minute ago where Palmer threw a 50 yard TD pass to Johnson, giving Guze 19 points in a single play.
S’okay. I’m up 7-3 at the moment. That’s what you would call a “cushion”, so don’t go getting your panties all in a bunch just yet big boy.
