Mood-altering Cat Parasites

Came across this on Boing Boing and, since I’m tired, I kind of got freaked out for a second thinking about the implications of this. Parasites that alter behavior to encourage hosts to perform actions that are beneficial to the parasite.

I probably shouldn’t be reading about behavior-changing parasites when I’m about to fall alseep. Still, interesting stuff, biology.
