Been thinking about blogging about my fantastic Friday for three days. It started with the first truly beautiful weather I’ve seen in the netherlands: sunny and warm. Here’s how it went:
- I biked around to do some errands, get some photos taken for my new train pass that I’m going to need when I start commuting from the Hague (I’m moving apartments, for those who don’t know).
- Jumped off my bike to play with a baby beagle who was so adorable.
- Took a train to the Hague and formally signed the papers on my new apartment. Then, just because I could, I walked over to it and looked around. And, since some kind soul had left a roll of toilet paper, I even christened my new apartment.
- Went to the gym and made myself strong (and sweaty) with the four other dumbasses who were in the gym on such a beautiful day.
- Ate lunch outside on a terrace
- Went to the Hague again for poker night and won 10 Euro in the cash game and I won 70 Euros in the tournament.
Not bad for one day’s work. Nice to see that no matter what life throws at you which is difficult, every now and then you get a day like last Friday.
