Yes, I am happy that we got Al-Zarqawi. But let’s remember one thing, this was a small time punk until the invasion of Iraq who took advantage of an opportunity we (America) gave him to pursue a bloody extremist agenda. Until we invaded Iraq, al-Zarqawi the terrorist leader didn’t even exist.
On the other hand, there WAS a terrorist leader who was directly responsible for the deaths of over 3,000 US citizens (more than Zarqawi could ever claim) who we seem to have completely ignored. His name is bin-Laden.
So excuse me if my joy at the death of the little fish is tempered that the big fish will probably die of old age or natural causes before we have a chance for retribution.
