Adjustment period took less time this time. Probably because I was with Ann, and we were met at the arrivals hall by our good friend Mark. And the fact that I had been here just four weeks ago.
It’s always good to come back to your home country. I’ve always liked the fact that the immigration agents who check your passport, say nothing the entire time, studiously apply the appropriate stamps, then hand you back your passport and say, “Welcome home Mr. Bishop.”
Only here for one day and then off to see the family in Florida. Even though it’s pretty mild here, it’ll be nice to see palm trees and play tennis on Christmas day.
