Skip all this crap and go to the photos
A big “THANK YOU” to everyone who came to my moving-in party this past Saturday. I know it was short notice (especially for you agenda-loving Dutch people who managed to make it), but it was really nice to see so many people gathered in one place all to share in the joy of the fact that I now live in the Hague.
Actually, there were quite a few events being celebrated that night:
- the awesome fact that I now live in the Hague
- my friend Jamie’s birthday
- my friend Michael’s new job
- the upcoming addition to the family for my friends Magreet and Darien
It was quite a night. I gave some “thank you” gifts to the people who helped me move in, rewarding them with IKEA gift certificates (so they can go and get more heavy boxes to move, oh the irony). We had a full bar where Ian would make a vodka martini for anyone who would let him, we had champagne all around to celebrate the confluence of happy events, and then at about 12:30 we all went out dancing where I discovered that Anmol has the smoothes moves of the entire MBA class. Put together.
Damn those Indians can DANCE!
Thanks to Ian and Gioia for all the work they did to get ready and to clean up.
Until next movin-in party…

Love the rainbow flags. Makes it look like the grand opening of a bodega in Queens. 😉

Brian, looks like you have a little alcohol left in your house? Will you be able to drink it all?
